We are seeking an On-Call Babysitter to join our team at SYNERGY HomeCare of Escondido, CA, and bring wholehearted, life-energizing care to our clients.
About the Role
As an On-Call Babysitter with SYNERGY HomeCare, you will have the opportunity to care for a wide variety of children, spanning all ages and abilities. Our babysitters work with a lot of flexibility, providing in-home childcare for short-term placements (typically 4-6 hours each) on a last-minute, date night, weekend coverage, or periodic care dates. You will ensure a healthy and safe environment, provide attention to children's needs, and engage in fun activities.
Responsibilities
Ensure a healthy and safe environment
Provide attention to children's needs, including engaging and fun activities
Care for infants, including feeding, diapering, and dressing
Prepare healthy snacks and meals
Encourage healthy habits and hygiene, and help with toilet training
Perform light housework, like laundry, dishes, and tidying up toys
Help with homework as needed
Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shift
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a babysitter, nanny, teacher, daycare worker, or camp counselor
Certification in first aid and child and infant CPR
Experience with special needs children

Competitive pay between $20 to $22/hr
