Dental Biller
Job Description Overview: Manage the billing process for dental services and ensure accurate, timely claim submissions.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and submit dental insurance claims using EMR/EHR systems and billing software.
Insurance Verification: Verify patient coverage, benefits, and eligibility prior to procedures.
Coding & Claims: Accurately code procedures (CDT, CPT, ICD) and follow up promptly on unpaid or denied claims.
Patient Communication: Support patients by addressing billing questions, payment options, and insurance processes.
Compliance & Management: Maintain detailed medical records and monitor claims management to optimize collections.
full-time $28 - $30 per hour

Requirements Experience: Proven experience in medical or dental billing within a healthcare setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems, billing software platforms, and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Knowledge: Strong understanding of health insurance policies, medical terminology, medical records management, and coding systems (CDT, CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10).
Key Competencies: Excellent customer service and professional communication skills for patient and insurance interaction.
Experience: Prior experience in medical collection processes is preferred.
