Job Description As a Elite Security Officer Shopping Center Driver in Leander, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 11:30 PMThur04:00 PM - 11:30 PMFri04:00 PM - 11:30 PMSat04:00 PM - 11:30 PMSun04:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns in accordance with site procedures. Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
